Celebrity Hackers Call It Quits

Cyber bandits, who exposed financial records of Jay-Z, Beyoncé and more, end prank.

Hollywood can rest easy...for now. The internet hackers who posted sensitive and confidential financial information about celebrities such as Beyoncé Jay-Z, Michelle Obama, Kim Kardashian and dozens of others have decided to take a break from their cyber-terrorism, according to their own website.

"Hello everyone, this is our final message," a note posted on the site begins. "Behind this jolly visage of rainbows and top hats, we are people. People with a preference for music, a preference for food; we have varying taste in clothes and television, we are just like you. Even Hitler and Osama Bin Laden had these unique variations and style, and isn't that interesting to know?"
The note, reposted on TMZ, continues, "We have enjoyed every minute of the past 12 days of providing entertainment and laughs to all of you, sadly it's time to say bon voyage - we hope - inspiration, fear, denial, happiness, approval, disapproval, mockery, embarrassment, thoughtfulness, jealousy, hate, even love."
The hackers concluded by saying, "If you believe that God makes miracles, you have to wonder if Satan has a few up his sleeve." That last line is from an episode of Dexter.

The hackers have evaded arrest so far, but both the FBI and Secret Service have been working hard to uncover the cyber criminals. Inexplicably, the website containing the sensitive information remains live as the investigation continues.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officials have warned all celebs and notable persons to put their bank accounts and other secret info on lockdown until the hackers are caught.
